Introduction and exhibition of
autonomous driving technology

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government offers support for private-sector projects toward social implementation of autonomous driving services as a way to address the workforce shortage of public transportation, etc. and offer new transportation services.
In collaboration with the state, private companies and related organizations, the metropolitan government has been supporting initiatives to increase social acceptance of autonomous driving technology.
As part of such support, the first public-private exhibitions and activities of the kind in the sector are held in the Showcase Program of SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024, designed for Tokyo citizens and visitors to learn more about and feel closer to autonomous driving.
