Tomohiro HoshiHead of Stanford Online High School, doctor of philosophy, and an EdTech consultant.

Born in Tokyo in 1977, Hoshi graduated from the Faculty of Letters, University of Tokyo in 2001. After moving to the US in 2002, he earned his M.A. in Philosophy at Texas A&M University and a Ph.D. in Philosophy at Stanford University in 2008. After becoming a professor at Stanford, he joined Stanford Online High School as Head of School in 2016, becoming a world-renowned leader in online education.
