SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024 Showcase Program
Recruiting Volunteers

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has launched a new concept to overcome global urban challenges, such as environmental and food issues, using cutting-edge technology, diverse ideas, and digital know-how.

“Sustainable High City Tech Tokyo = SusHi Tech Tokyo”

With SusHi Tech Tokyo, we aim to create “sustainable new values.”

A large-scale event for “SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024” will be held in Tokyo. In a first-of-its-kind initiative, we will conduct three programs simultaneously: Asia’s largest Global Startup Program, the City Leaders Program, bringing together leaders from five continents, and the interactive Showcase Program, which will present models for future cities.

The Showcase Program will welcome approximately 500,000 people at four venues: Miraikan, Symbol Promenade Park, Umi-no-Mori Area, and Ariake Arena.
By having visitors experience the future of Tokyo first-hand and relate to the activities on offer through the Showcase Program, we hope to encourage many people to raise their awareness for a sustainable society and change their behavior.

We hope that volunteers, together with visitors, will also have the chance to experience and relate to the activities in the Showcase Program, which will feature technologies to support the future of Tokyo, such as robots and mobility, as well as sustainability initiatives including the use of next-generation energy such as hydrogen and sunlight.

Ariake Arena and the Umi-no-Mori Area (Sea Forest Waterway), used for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, will be the venues for the Program. We are looking for volunteers. We hope many people will participate as volunteers and use this opportunity to think about the future of Tokyo with us. We look forward to your active participation!
